More Japanese hentai game developers are banning foreign IPs from their sites in order to protect themselves from any unwanted attention, but is it any surprise that it’s a little upsetting?
Possessing RapeLay Might be a Federal Offense in the US
The controversy revolving around ‘RapeLay’, the Japanese hentai game has reach a new level in the US. First, they ban the game from selling on Amazon, then they ban the game from publishing in Japan, and now it seems owning the game will be a federal crime in the US.
In a recent court ruling U.S. citizen who owns RapeLay and similar games will be guilty of a federal crime. This came about when Wired reported of a man in Virginia ‘Dwight Whorley’, who was convicted of 20 years in prison for possessing kiddie porn and distributing pornographic fiction over email. However, prosecutors also charged him with possessing hentai manga (which has minors engaging in explicit sex) by using the recently-enacted Protect Act, which is:
Also, note that not all Judges think this law is right. One Judge named ‘Judge Roger Gregory’ who is appealing to the Supreme Court to reverse this case and change the Protect Act. He stated:
Wired also reported of a man named Christopher Handley, a comic book collector in Iowa with a similar case. He was also convicted for possessing manga art depicting children having sex, but the difference was he did not own any real, obscene pictures of nude children having sex. Although, he does not have any real obscene pictures of nude children, he still faces a maximum of 15 years prison sentence because of the 2003 Protect Act.
So, if you have any hentai games like RapeLay or any hentai manga at all. I suggest you start deleting it or throwing those mangas out, hell move to Japan, because the Government is starting to crack down on this. It is no use to explain to them that these hentai pictures are just lines and not real.

Erotic game developers Tech48 based in Japan is using face tracking technology to let players interact with the game. The game will shift angle depending on which way the player is looking at the screen which means looking up at girl’s skirts in this game.
It’s just a matter of time before this technology will be used more on FPS or survival horror games.

Any person who… knowingly possesses a visual depiction of any kind, including a drawing, cartoon, sculpture, or painting, that—
(1) (A) depicts a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct; and
(B) is obscene; or
(2) (A) depicts an image that is, or appears to be, of a minor engaging in graphic bestiality, sadistic or masochistic abuse, or sexual intercourse, including genital-genital, oral-genital, anal-genital, or oral-anal, whether between persons of the same or opposite sex; and
(B) lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value… shall be subject to the penalties provided…
(c) Nonrequired Element of Offense.— It is not a required element of any offense under this section that the minor depicted actually exist.

Good News! Megachu will be released in North America finally!
And I thought they never going to released it at all, but they were wrong, the DVD has finally been delayed yet again. But this time, it’s official! Oh! My Sex Goddess (Japanese Title: Megachu!) is going to be released outside of Japan at last! Kitty Media has decided to release the series on January 31st, 2011, although it might be delayed.
Megachu! Is an spin-off series of Makai Tenshi Jibril and is part of the Jibril series. The Visual Novel game was released in 2006.AliceSoft now has Twitter

If you noticed an Japan-Only link, you thought “OK, the site is dead”. No, this site is NOT dead. If you noticed AliceSoft’s Twitter update, they are still updating the site. Why is the site still alive, well I’ll tell you why!
With Daiteikoku possibly seeing a 2011 release, this seem like a logical move for Alicesoft (some are saying Alicesoft did this in preparation of release new information on Daiteikoku). Daiteikoku’s story plot is a space-themed parody of WWII. Thus caused controversial to users outside of Japan, thus lead to blocking IP blocks outside of Japan, but proxy must be needed.So like I said: Site isn’t dead, Site block due to the controversial plot of the game, proxy needed.
